Put Narcan within reach on campus.

Texas A&M has no written policy that allows or forbids free naloxone in public spaces. We are asking the university to adopt one.

Three things we want

01

A written policy authorizing free naloxone (Narcan) in residence halls and public campus buildings.

02

A named office responsible for stocking it and replacing it before it expires.

03

Basic overdose-response training offered to students and staff.

Aggies look out for Aggies

Counterfeit pills made with fentanyl look like Xanax, Percocet, or oxycodone, and students often cannot tell the difference. Naloxone is a safe nasal spray that reverses an opioid overdose in minutes, and it does nothing if no opioids are present.

+34%Overdose deaths among ages 18 to 24 rose 34% between 2018 and 2022, per CDC data reported by NPR.

Texas State, UT Austin, UTEP, UNT, and UT San Antonio already make free naloxone available to their students. Aggies should have the same protection.
